Scottish Premiership Analysis: Top 15 Most Followed Players on Instagram & How much could they earn?
Sam With the 2024-25 Scottish Premiership in full swing, we have collected and analyzed the number of Instagram followers of more than 200 players from the participating clubs of the current season to find out which player has the most followers on Instagram and who can potentially earn the most money through social media.
Celtic FC's Kasper Schmeichel turned out to be the most followed player of the Scottish Premiership on Instagram. At the moment, Schmeichel has 1.062 million followers, so he could potentially earn over 8,000 GBP per sponsored Instagram post (=9,500 EUR / 10,6000 USD).
Rangers' Ianis Hagi is currently in second spot with 442K followers, but if he is transferred, as per the recent rumours, the second place for the most followers in the Scottish Premiership will go to his teammate Jack Butland, who has 381,000 followers.
The Scottish Premiership club with the most combined followers is Celtic FC with 3.28 million Instagram followers, followed by Rangers FC with 3.163 million followers.
