3 Oaks Gaming adds volcano-themed slot to Hit the Bonus range

3 Oaks Gaming, an iGaming content distributor, has released 3 Coin Volcanoes, the latest addition to its Hit the Bonus series and, according to the company, its most ambitious title yet.

The game departs from previous entries in the range by using a 4x3 reel layout, with players able to raise the number of active lines to improve their chances of triggering the bonus round.

Volcano mechanic and Boosters

Bonus symbols landing on active lines during base play ignite green, red and blue fire effects that activate three volcanoes positioned above the reels. Once triggered, these launch players into the Bonus Game accompanied by one of three Boosters. The Life Booster restores the respin counter, the Multi Booster applies multipliers that stack when they land on the same cell, and the Grow Booster extends the grid by two additional rows. Fire effects continue during the bonus round, giving players the chance to trigger further Boosters.

Jackpots and returning features

3 Coin Volcanoes includes five in-game jackpots. The Grand Jackpot, worth 500 times the stake, is won when the entire Bonus Game grid fills with symbols. A new Royal Jackpot, worth 2,000 times the stake, becomes available only when the Grow Booster expands the grid to a 4x5 field.

The title also retains established mechanics from the Hit the Bonus series, including Sticky Coins, Mystery Symbols and Coin Collect, alongside a Buy Bonus option offering three different price points.
