3 Oaks Gaming enters Portugal via Betclic tie-up

3 Oaks Gaming has entered the Portuguese iGaming market through a new partnership with operator Betclic, announced on 16th January 2025.

Under the agreement, Betclic.pt customers will gain access to a number of the supplier’s slot titles, including Aztec Fire, Grab the Gold and More Magic Apple. Betclic, which became the first operator to hold a Portuguese online betting licence in 2016, remains one of the country’s established iGaming brands.

The integration of 3 Oaks Gaming’s content is being delivered via IGT PlayDigital’s aggregation platform, which gives operators access to multiple suppliers alongside player engagement and loyalty tools through a single connection.

Regulatory certification

Ahead of the launch, 3 Oaks Gaming certified 40 games from its catalogue to satisfy requirements set by Portugal’s gambling regulator, the Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos Turismo de Portugal (SRIJ).

The move into Portugal forms part of the supplier’s broader international expansion, as it looks to grow its footprint in regulated markets. The release cites Statista figures projecting Portugal’s online gaming user base will surpass 800,000 players by 2029, with market revenue expected to reach €969.40 million.
