BetWright launches crossbar challenge for Leyton Orient fans
BetWright, the stadium naming rights partner of Leyton Orient, has introduced a matchday crossbar challenge offering fans the chance to win up to £25,000.
BetWright, the Official Stadium Naming Rights Partner of Leyton Orient Football Club, has unveiled a new matchday promotion at The BetWright Stadium called the Bangers N’Cash Crossbar Challenge.
At each Orient home fixture this season, a randomly selected ticket holder aged 18 or over will be invited onto the pitch at half-time to attempt a single shot at hitting the crossbar. A successful attempt wins the current prize pot, which begins at £3,000 for the opening match. Once claimed, the pot resets to £1,000 and increases by £1,000 for every subsequent home game it remains unclaimed, up to a maximum of £25,000.
Fans who miss the crossbar are not left without a reward. They can choose from three sealed envelopes, each containing a different consolation prize: a second attempt at the crossbar, a gift card for the club shop, or a Leyton Orient shirt.
Debut fixture
The promotion begins this Saturday, 9 August, when Leyton Orient host Wigan at The BetWright Stadium.
Company comment
Yarry Troshchey, Chief Marketing Officer at BetWright, said the company wanted to be part of the club’s matchday experience rather than acting as a background sponsor, adding that the challenge was designed to create tension and theatre for supporters attending games.
The promotion is open to home ticket holders aged 18 and over. Full terms and conditions are available at support.betwright.com.
