Blueprint Gaming casts new line with Big Catch Even Bigger Bass
Blueprint Gaming has launched Big Catch Even Bigger Bass, the latest addition to its fishing-themed slot portfolio, featuring an expanded set of bonus modifiers.
Blueprint Gaming released Big Catch Even Bigger Bass on 20th February 2025, extending its Big Catch series with a title set on a lake surrounded by mountains, moving away from the ocean setting used in its long-running Fishin’ Frenzy series.
The game runs on a 6x4 reel layout offering 4,096 ways to win. Collect symbols initially appear only on reel six during base play. Once cash icons are gathered alongside a reel-six collect, an additional collect symbol is unlocked on reel one, triggering the Dual Collect modifier.
Modifiers and bonus features
Additional features include Lock & Spin, Cash Boost and Pick A Fish, which offer sticky cash rewards, multipliers up to 5x and mystery prizes. Once Pick A Fish has been triggered, landing three or more bonus scatters activates the Big Splash Cash Spins round, where players select a fish to reveal an upgrade that remains active for the rest of the bonus game.
Within the Cash Spins bonus, further upgrades such as Fish Upgrades, additional spins, Next Level, Two-Way Pays, extra fish, extra collect symbols and Golden Fish can be unlocked. Landing three collect symbols during this round grants five extra spins each time, alongside multipliers of up to 10x.
Part of a wider release schedule
Blueprint Gaming said the title reflects its approach of building on existing game families with new mechanics, adding that further releases are planned as part of its first-quarter roadmap.
Jo Purvis, Director of Marketing, PR and Events at Blueprint Gaming, said the Big Catch series has complemented the Fishin’ Frenzy collection well in recent years, and that the new title aims to build on this with its Pick A Fish prizes and Big Splash Cash Spins feature.
