Blueprint Gaming expands Atlantis franchise with Rise of Atlantis Legacy

Blueprint Gaming has launched Rise of Atlantis Legacy, the latest slot in its Rise of Atlantis franchise, on 18 September 2025.

The title follows the original Rise of Atlantis, which launched in January 2023 and has remained within the top 10 for key performance metrics across Blueprint’s major international markets, and its sequel Rise of Atlantis 2, which the supplier said continued that momentum.

Gameplay mechanics

Rise of Atlantis Legacy features Rising Multipliers that can appear on any of the six reels. When part of a winning combination, these are applied at the end of a successful cascade, with the multiplier value increasing by one once all wins have been processed.

Landing four or more bonus symbols triggers a choice between two bonus games. Alongside the existing Rise of Atlantis free spins feature, the game introduces Gates of Atlantis, a new bonus round that incorporates a Total Win Multiplier which combines with any additional multiplier to boost the final payout.

The game also offers three bonus bet purchase options, comprising super versions of each of the two bonus rounds and a combined Legend of Atlantis feature that merges both mechanics.

Franchise strategy

Blueprint Gaming said the release reflects its wider approach of building on established intellectual property to support growth across global markets, with the Atlantis series highlighted as an example of content designed to appeal to varied player audiences.

Jo Purvis, Director of Marketing, PR and Events at Blueprint Gaming, said the Rise of Atlantis series has become one of the studio’s most successful franchises, delivering consistent results across regulated international markets. She added that Rise of Atlantis Legacy retains elements players are familiar with from the original title while introducing new mechanics through the Gates of Atlantis bonus game, aimed at improving retention rates for operators.
