Blueprint Gaming releases festive King Kong Cash slot with new Power Play mode

Blueprint Gaming has released King Kong Cash: Even Bigger Bananas Power Play, a festive addition to its long-running King Kong Cash series and the studio’s final title of 2024.

The slot is set in a snowy jungle and uses a 6x4 grid offering 4,096 ways to win. It features Kong and a cast of jungle characters alongside Christmas-themed bonus symbols.

Gameplay features

Landing a collect symbol on reels one or six triggers the Cash Collect feature, awarding all cash and jackpot symbols on screen simultaneously. This can unlock four Kong upgrades: Dual Collect, Lock & Spin, Cash Boost and Golden Monkey, each designed to boost potential returns.

As with earlier titles in the series, any upgrades unlocked carry over into the base game and the free spins round. Non-collected banana, golden monkey or golden barrel symbols feed into a banana pot displayed at the top of the screen, which can randomly trigger a Go Bananas feature offering a choice of three Pick a Prize options.

The game’s free spins round is activated by landing between three and six Kong scatter symbols, awarding 10 free spins and a direct payout of up to 500 times the stake.

A new Power Play mode is also available, allowing players to increase their stake by five times in exchange for a reel set containing only cash, cash pot, collect and bonus symbols, raising the frequency of collects and bonus wins. The title carries a maximum win of 10,000 times the player’s bet.

Jo Purvis, Director of Marketing, PR and Events at Blueprint Gaming, said the King Kong character was a fitting choice to front the studio’s Christmas release given the series’ performance over the past year, adding that the game combines the established Kong Upgrades with the new Power Play feature to offer players a range of bonus opportunities heading into December.
