ESA Gaming launches festive slot Santastic 4

ESA Gaming has released Santastic 4, a new festive slot title, as part of its winter game lineup.

The 5x4 slot game features a tattooed Santa alongside a cast of criminal Christmas characters across its reels. Stacked walking wilds can trigger a respin on any spin, with a maximum win potential of 5,000x the stake.

Bonus mechanics

Landing three or more bonus symbols awards eight free spins. During this round, random cells become framed, with additional frames added each time a new wild appears, continuing until an entire column is framed.

Once a column is fully framed, walking wild respins are triggered, this time carrying multipliers of up to 3x to increase potential returns.

Santastic 4 follows the provider’s earlier release Record Spins as the latest title to build on the mechanic of stacked wilds, continuing what the company describes as its approach of reworking familiar slot concepts.

Josefin Uppeke, Head of Game Production at ESA Gaming, said the title offers a reworked take on festive characters with a “menacing makeover”, combining stacked wilds, respins, walking wilds and multipliers. She added that the release forms part of the company’s plans for further game launches.
