ESA Gaming, the independent games provider, released its new slot title Record Spins on 28th July 2024.
The game is built on a 6x4 grid with 4,096 paylines and carries a music and dancefloor theme, combining several linked features across both the base game and free spins round.
Tempo and crossfade mechanics
Four channels sit above and below reels 1, 3, 4 and 6, forming the game’s Tempo feature. These channels light up progressively, and once all four are illuminated, two respins are triggered with stacked symbols appearing on the activated reels.
Reels 2 and 5 carry a separate crossfade feature, which upgrades symbols positioned next to them to increase the potential for larger wins.
Free spins are activated when the Master symbol lands on the same row on reels 2 and 5, awarding ten free spins. During this mode, the Tempo feature requires just two lit channels rather than four to trigger the stacked respins.
Latest in a growing portfolio
Record Spins follows the release of Chicken Bonanza, which introduced ESA Gaming’s Sticky Clusters mechanic, as the supplier continues to expand its slot catalogue.
Josefin Uppeke, Head of Game Production at ESA Gaming, said the title was designed to bring together strong visuals, sound and gameplay, describing it as an attempt to create a standout hit within the studio’s output.
ESA Gaming, founded in 2009, is known for its content aggregation platform and poker products, and has more recently expanded into mobile casino games. Its EasySwipe mobile-first game range is designed to integrate into sportsbook platforms, allowing operators to offer casino content alongside sports betting without disrupting the betting experience.
