Greentube launches Lunar New Year slot Golden Roar BOOM
Greentube has released Golden Roar BOOM, a Lunar New Year themed video slot featuring a jackpot bonus round, as part of its expanding games portfolio.
Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has released a new video slot titled Golden Roar BOOM, themed around Lunar New Year festivities.
The game is set on a 5x3 grid decorated with lanterns, cymbals and lucky token symbols, and includes scatter symbols capable of doubling wins when used as substitutes.
Boom feature and jackpots
Landing six or more Boom Bonus symbols anywhere on the grid triggers the game’s central mechanic, the Golden Roar BOOM feature, which gives players a shot at one of two jackpots.
Once activated, a seventh reel with five spinning positions is added to the grid. The round begins with two Boom Pays placed on reels three and five, while the number of initial Boom Spins depends on how many Boom Bonus symbols triggered the feature.
Symbols landed during the bonus are held and combined to build up potential Boom Pay values. Players who land three Grand symbols during the feature win the Grand Jackpot, worth 3,000 times the stake.
The bonus round concludes either when the player runs out of Boom Spins or when all 35 positions on the grid have been filled.
Portfolio expansion
Golden Roar BOOM adds to Greentube’s existing slate of titles, which the company says blends traditional slot mechanics with newer features aimed at international audiences.
Bernd Baumert, Director of Games Production and Operations at Greentube, said the title combines familiar slot gameplay with the atmosphere of Lunar New Year celebrations, adding that the Boom feature and its jackpot opportunities were designed to offer players a fresh and rewarding experience.
