Greentube unveils Day of the Dead-themed slot Calacas Cash

Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has released Calacas Cash, a new video slot themed around Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebrations, timed for the Halloween period.

The game runs on a 6x5 pays-anywhere grid featuring skull and jewel symbols, with wins formed when eight or more matching symbols land. Wild symbols help build combinations, while scatters trigger bonus features.

Coin collector mechanic

Each spin carries a chance of a collector position appearing on the reels, which guarantees at least one coin stack lands. Throughout the base game, players gather coin symbols that can appear on any spin, and landing them in the random collector position pays out cash prizes ranging from 0.25x to 100x the stake.

A Free Games round is unlocked by landing four or more scatter symbols, awarding 10 initial spins. Additional sets of four scatters add five further spins. During the free spins, skull collector symbols stay locked in place, and any multiplier symbols gathered raise the multiplier by one increment. A Bonus Buy option is also available, letting players pay 50 times their total stake to enter the Free Games feature directly.
