Habanero adds Irish-themed Shamrock Quest to slots portfolio

Habanero has released Shamrock Quest, a new video slot that puts a darker spin on the traditional Leprechaun theme.

The 5x3 title runs across 25 paylines and combines classic slot symbols with Celtic coins, shamrocks and pots of gold. The Leprechaun character serves as the game’s wild symbol.

Map Feature mechanics

The game’s central mechanic is the Map Feature, which activates when the Leprechaun lands as part of a winning combination during base play. Once triggered, the character moves along a path of blue, red and gold pebbles, advancing one cell for every wild symbol showing on the reels.

Landing on a red pebble triggers the free games feature, while a golden harp awards a cash prize worth up to 100x the stake. If the Leprechaun’s journey ends on a gold pebble, players receive a 10,000x prize.

Separately, landing three scatter symbols activates a Locked Wins Free Games feature, in which winning combinations remain fixed in place for the duration of the round to increase overall win potential. In selected jurisdictions, a Buy Feature option allows players to pay to enter the bonus round directly.

Shamrock Quest follows recent Habanero releases Japanese Mask and Hyper Hues, continuing the supplier’s ongoing run of new slot content.
