Habanero launches haunted puppet theatre slot Shivering Strings

Habanero has added a new premium title to its portfolio with the launch of Shivering Strings, a haunted-themed video slot set inside a puppet theatre.

Announced on 30 September 2025, the game runs on a 5x3 reel layout with 25 paylines and offers a maximum win potential of 2,877x stake.

Features and mechanics

The slot introduces two new features, Macabre Masquerade and Marionette March, both built around walking wilds and mechanics designed to add extra spins as play progresses.

A Winning Strings Feature can convert non-winning spins into guaranteed wins. During the Free Games round, wild symbols expand into walking wilds that shift one position to the left on each spin until they move off the reels, with players able to trigger up to 50 free spins in total.

The title also supports Habanero’s Jackpot Race mechanic and includes a Buy Feature option, giving operators additional tools to configure the game for different markets.
