Habanero releases gem-themed slot Hyper Hues

Habanero has added a new title to its portfolio with the launch of Hyper Hues, a slot built around a gem-themed visual style.

The game runs on a 5x3 reel layout with 50 paylines and is pitched as high volatility, with a maximum win potential of 3,116 times the total stake. Players can trigger a free games round offering up to 15 spins, during which multipliers of up to 5x can be applied to wins. Wild symbols can also generate up to eight additional Cluster Wilds, adding further win potential.

In markets where it is permitted, the game includes a Buy Feature that lets players pay to enter the free games round directly rather than triggering it through play.

ICE Barcelona tournament

Hyper Hues will also be used as the basis for a tournament at Habanero’s stand at ICE Barcelona, held for the first time at Fira Gran Via. Entrants will aim to achieve the highest score within a fixed number of spins over a 30 minute session, with the top ten scorers at the end of that period winning prizes.

Signup for the tournament will be handled via mobile, with players scanning a QR code and completing a short form before receiving a set number of free spins on the game. A live leaderboard will track standings throughout each session. The tournament forms part of a wider showcase at the stand covering Habanero’s slot content and gamification tools.

Hyper Hues joins other recent additions to Habanero’s catalogue, including Carnival Cove, Baba Yaga and Jump! 2.
