SIS strikes esports supply deal with Rivalry

Sports Information Services (SIS) has launched its H2H Global Gaming League (H2HGGL) eBasketball and eSoccer products with Rivalry, the sportsbook and iGaming operator aimed at Gen Z bettors, in multiple international markets.

Under the agreement, Rivalry customers will gain access to more than 150,000 H2HGGL short-form esports events annually, delivered with low-latency video streams, statistics, player form data and over 50 pre-game and in-play markets. SIS said the content is designed to build on Rivalry’s existing customer base of digitally native Millennial and Gen Z bettors.

Integrity accreditation

The eBasketball and eSoccer games are produced by professional gamers from SIS’s studios in the UK, with trained referees overseeing every contest. SIS said H2HGGL is currently the only product of its kind to hold the Esports Integrity Commission’s Gold Standard accreditation, which the company describes as the highest level of integrity and safety certification available in the sector. SIS also said the product adds as much as 10% in value to operators, though no further detail on this figure was provided.

Executive comment

Jake Nowry, sales and business development manager at SIS Content Services, said the Rivalry deal marked a landmark agreement for the company as it looks to expand the international reach of its esports offering. Michele Fischer, vice president of SIS Content Services, said the partnership with Rivalry, which she described as appealing to a global, digitally native audience, would strengthen the operator’s existing product range.

Evan Van Luven, director of sportsbook operations at Rivalry, said the tie-up added round-the-clock betting content for customers and would help cross-sell between the operator’s sports and esports betting audiences.

SIS has operated in the betting content and data supply sector for more than 35 years, providing live pictures, racing events, esports and numbers draws to more than 400 retail and online customers across over 50 countries. Rivalry, based in Toronto, operates in more than 20 countries and holds an Isle of Man licence as well as an internet gaming registration in Ontario, with further licence applications in progress.
