SpinOn launches Wild West slot The Handsome Bandit via Yggdrasil's YGG Masters

Yggdrasil and YGG Masters partner SpinOn have launched The Handsome Bandit, a Wild West themed slot title that forms the fifth release from the Malta-based studio.

The game centres on a gunslinger narrative and includes a bonus wheel that determines the number of free spins awarded when triggered. Once the feature activates, a new set of reels appears set on a moving train, with the bandit pursuing rewards across the gameplay.

Sticky wilds and multipliers

During free spins, wild symbols landing on reels two and five become sticky. If a second wild lands on the same reel, both symbols remain sticky with a 2x multiplier applied. A third wild on the same reel creates a full reel of wilds, with all symbols becoming sticky and a 3x multiplier applied.

The title runs on GATI, Yggdrasil’s proprietary technology platform, which provides partners with a standardised, regulation-ready development toolkit designed to speed up content production and distribution.

Partnership context

SpinOn is among the more recent studios to join Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters initiative, which brings third-party developed content onto Yggdrasil’s distribution network. Zoe Bird, Head of Masters at Yggdrasil, said the studio’s output to date had made a strong impression, describing The Handsome Bandit as a fitting addition to the growing portfolio of third-party titles due to its theme, bonus mechanics and gameplay.

SpinOn’s marketing team said the title was built for players seeking high-volatility slots with engaging bonus features and significant payout potential, adding that the studio was looking forward to seeing the game reach operators across Yggdrasil’s network.

Yggdrasil, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Sweden with additional offices in Malta, Poland and Gibraltar. SpinOn is based in Malta and describes itself as a newer entrant to the online gaming sector.
