William Hill named headline sponsor at Dundalk Stadium

William Hill has become the headline sponsor of Dundalk Stadium, covering all Wednesday and Friday racing fixtures between 27 September 2024 and 11 April 2025.

The partnership begins this Friday, 27 September, with the bookmaker’s name attached to the Listed William Hill Top Price Guarantee Diamond Stakes. The sponsorship will also extend to the Group 3 Mercury Stakes on 25 October, a race previously won by Take Cover and Caspian Prince.

Across the 37 fixtures included in the deal, William Hill branding will appear at various points around the track, including on the starting stalls and the winning post.

Racing TV tie-up

Alongside the racecourse deal, William Hill has also taken on sponsorship of Racing TV’s The Friday Club programme. The show will feature William Hill ambassadors, including Fran Berry and Kevin O’Ryan, appearing on track alongside the Racing TV presenting team from 27 September.

Andrew McCleave, Head of Marketing (Ireland) at William Hill, said the company was pleased to partner with Dundalk Stadium for the new season, pointing to its record of offering competitive top prices on horse racing in recent months. He added that the firm intended to extend its Top Price Guarantee offers across its sponsored race meetings at the venue, while also supporting Irish racing more broadly. McCleave also welcomed the sponsorship of The Friday Club, describing the programme as a key fixture for racing fans and a natural complement to live action from the Polytrack.
