Yggdrasil adds streamer-founded studio DreamSpin to YGG Masters

Yggdrasil, the iGaming content publisher, has announced the addition of DreamSpin to its YGG Masters partner programme, the company said on 3rd March 2025.

DreamSpin was founded by influencer duo Fruity Slots and Hideous Slots, and is described by Yggdrasil as the first slot-streaming act to transition into running its own dedicated game studio. The UK-based team says it intends to apply its experience of player preferences and habits to develop content aimed at slot players.

Expanding the Masters network

The deal adds to Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters initiative, which allows independent game studios to build and distribute titles through Yggdrasil’s technology and distribution network. The programme forms part of Yggdrasil’s stated 2025 ambition to grow into the largest and most successful aggregator in the sector.

Yggdrasil said the Masters programme has previously produced some of its top-performing titles, with partner studios also given access to its Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs) toolset, which currently comprises ten mechanics used to add features to game content.

Zoe Bird, Head of Masters at Yggdrasil, said the studio was regarded as one of the most exciting newcomers in the market and that she was looking forward to the partnership developing over time.

Josh Green, co-founder of DreamSpin, said the tie-up represented the next step in the studio’s development and that further content releases with Yggdrasil were expected.

Yggdrasil was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Sweden, with additional offices in Malta, which serves as its operational headquarters, as well as Poland and Gibraltar.
