Yggdrasil expands German presence through NOVOLINE partnership
Yggdrasil has agreed a content deal with German operator NOVOLINE.DE, its latest move to strengthen its footprint in regulated European markets.
Yggdrasil has struck a partnership with NOVOLINE.DE, a German operator owned by the NOVOMATIC Group, to supply its slot portfolio to the operator’s local player base. The deal was announced on 1st September 2025.
Under the agreement, NOVOLINE customers will gain access to Yggdrasil titles including the Vikings series, Champion of the Underworld and Valley of the Gods. The offering will also extend to games from Yggdrasil’s YG Masters programme, featuring content from studios such as Peter & Sons and 4ThePlayer.
NOVOLINE, based in Hamburg, has built a strong position in Germany’s regulated gambling market since launching in 2021.
Continued European expansion
The NOVOLINE tie-up follows a string of commercial agreements Yggdrasil has signed across Europe this quarter, including deals with operators in Greece, Serbia and Spain, as the supplier continues to build out its presence in key regulated markets.
Jose Kadala, Chief Commercial Officer at Yggdrasil, said the company was pleased to bring its games portfolio to NOVOLINE’s German audience, adding that the operator had quickly established itself in a tightly regulated market and that Yggdrasil’s content was well suited to its players.
Florian Hermann, Managing Director at NOVOLINE.DE, said the operator was confident its customers would respond well to the addition of Yggdrasil’s titles, citing the supplier’s long track record in producing popular games.
Yggdrasil, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Sweden with additional offices in Malta, Poland and Gibraltar. The company’s portfolio spans proprietary technology, its GATI platform, and the YG Masters partner network, alongside tools such as its BOOST promotional suite and Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs).
