3 Oaks Gaming launches Aztec-themed Hold and Win slot
3 Oaks Gaming has released 3 Aztec Temples, a new slot combining the Hold and Win mechanic with jackpot features and modifier-driven bonus rounds.
3 Oaks Gaming, a distributor of iGaming content, has launched 3 Aztec Temples, the latest addition to its slot portfolio, on 10th April 2025.
The game uses a 5x3 grid and is themed around a jungle temple setting. Gold Coin Bonus Symbols act as the entry point to the Hold & Win Bonus Game, which is triggered when six or more Bonus Symbols land on the reels. During the feature, players can land Mini, Minor or Major Jackpot symbols, while filling the entire grid unlocks the Grand Jackpot.
Temple Meters and modifiers
A key mechanic in the release is the inclusion of three Temple Meters, which fill using Red, Blue or Green Feature symbols. Once charged, each meter activates a different modifier within the Bonus Game. The Boost modifier adds value to every symbol on the board, Collect gathers all visible amounts into one payout, and Multi increases the total value of symbols on the grid.
Players can enter the Bonus Game with a single modifier active, with the possibility of unlocking further modifiers during play via the Mystery symbol, which can convert into either Feature or Jackpot symbols. A Lucky Spin mechanic offers an additional route into the Bonus Game with a modifier already active.
The title also includes Buy Bonus functionality, allowing players to pay for direct entry into either the standard Bonus Game or the Super Bonus Game, with the latter guaranteeing all three modifiers are active from the start.
