Altenar secures virtual sports certification in Brazil
Sportsbook technology provider Altenar has obtained certification to offer sportsbook and RGS products, including virtual sports, in Brazil's regulated market.
Altenar has been certified to supply sportsbook and RGS solutions, including virtual sports, in Brazil, marking a further step in the company’s Latin American expansion.
The certification followed an assessment process intended to confirm the provider’s compliance with Brazil’s regulatory requirements. It adds to a series of recent partnerships Altenar has struck with suppliers including Inspired, Kiron, Leap and Sportradar.
Virtual sports addition
With the certification secured, Altenar will be able to incorporate virtual sports content from established providers into its platform for the Brazilian market. The company said the addition is designed to give local operators a round-the-clock offering alongside its existing sportsbook products.

Dinos Doxiadis, Director of Product - Sportsbook and Data at Altenar, said the certification represented a further milestone in the company’s expansion across Latin America. He said the partnerships formed with established providers would allow Altenar to offer a virtual sports experience to operators and players in Brazil, complementing its sportsbook solutions and supporting growth in the market.
Altenar, founded in 2011, describes itself as a turnkey sportsbook provider that customises its offering for different markets and client requirements.
