Firesand secures fourth ISO/IEC 27001 certification renewal
iGaming security specialist Firesand has renewed its ISO/IEC 27001 information security certification for the fourth consecutive time.
Firesand, a provider of security services to the iGaming sector, has renewed its ISO/IEC 27001 certification, marking the fourth time it has done so.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard is an internationally recognised framework covering the management of information security, including how organisations process, manage and protect data belonging to clients and staff.
As part of the renewal process, Firesand underwent an audit carried out by ISO consultants, who assessed the company’s internal procedures against the standard’s requirements.

Matthew Holloway, Director at Firesand, said the renewal reflected the company’s view that data and information security are a core part of any business, describing it as “non-negotiable”. He added that clients trust the firm with sensitive information, and that holding the business to the same standards it advises on was essential, calling the renewal “a powerful reminder” that Firesand’s own systems are managed securely and in line with recognised best practice.
