BetGames debuts crash-style tap game Penguin Rush

BetGames has released Penguin Rush, the company’s first tap game, expanding its RNG product line with a title that blends strategic decision-making with crash-style multiplier mechanics.

The game is set on an icy Antarctic landscape, where a penguin must cross a frozen lake without being struck by a sledge. Players tap to move the penguin forward one lane at a time, collecting prizes along the way. The further the penguin advances, the higher the potential prize, but overextending risks a collision that forfeits all accumulated winnings.

Four difficulty levels

Penguin Rush offers four difficulty settings: Easy, Medium, Hard and Daredevil, featuring 24, 22, 20 and 15 lanes respectively. Higher difficulty levels carry larger multipliers and greater win potential, but also increase the risk of collision, giving players control over their preferred balance of risk and reward.

Once a player successfully cashes out, the game reveals how far the penguin would have travelled, allowing players to review outcomes and adjust their approach in future rounds.

The title can also be customised with bespoke branding for operators. BetGames says the release reflects its ongoing effort to broaden its RNG offering with straightforward, engaging content designed to appeal to both sports bettors and casino players.

Executive comment

Ian Catchick, Chief Product and Business Development Officer at BetGames, said the company’s focus is on delivering strong entertainment value efficiently, to capture players’ attention and make the most of their time. He said Penguin Rush’s simplicity, combined with its strategic difficulty options, sets it apart within its genre by giving players a sense of control over risk and reward. Catchick added that the option for bespoke branding allows operators to feature prominently within the game, which he believes will contribute to its success.
