Games Global unites Thunderstruck and FlyX brands in new crash game

Games Global has launched Thunderstruck FlyX through its exclusive studio Stormcraft Studios, combining the long-running Thunderstruck brand with the crash-game format of FlyX.

The title, released on 9 April 2025, retains the Norse god characters associated with the Thunderstruck series and applies them to crash-game mechanics, in which a multiplier climbs for as long as a round continues before crashing.

How it works

Players choose to play as either Thor or Thyra and set a wager for each round. As the round progresses, the multiplier rises every second, with a maximum cap of 10,000x. Participants must decide when to cash out, since each round ends at an unpredictable point and failing to cash out before the crash forfeits the stake.

The game also includes a social element, with a leaderboard displayed on screen showing the highest cash-out multipliers achieved by other players in the previous round.

Part of a wider push

Thunderstruck FlyX follows other recent Stormcraft releases, including Thunderstruck Gold Blitz Extreme and Immortal Romance II, continuing the studio’s strategy of extending established game franchises into new formats.

Andy Booth, chief product officer at Games Global, said the release reflected the company’s aim to deliver innovative content by pairing the established Thunderstruck universe with the FlyX format.

Terence Igesund, executive producer at Stormcraft Studios, said the game combined established Thunderstruck themes with crash-game mechanics to create an experience set within the brand’s Asgard setting.

Games Global describes itself as a developer, distributor and marketer of iGaming content, working with a network of more than 40 in-house and partner studios that have produced over 1,400 proprietary games over the past two decades. Stormcraft Studios, founded in 2016, was established by industry figures previously involved in creating the Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck and Immortal Romance franchises.
