BGaming launches Rotating Element slot with clockwise-spinning reels

BGaming has released Rotating Element, a new slot title that introduces a Rotate symbol capable of twisting the game’s 5x5 reel set clockwise around its centre.

The mechanic activates whenever the Rotate symbol lands in either the base or bonus game. During Free Spins, the symbol becomes sticky and can trigger between one and three rotations per spin. It also starts each Free Spins round at a x1 multiplier, which climbs whenever a winning line runs through it, up to a maximum of x100.

Scatters and bonus features

A lotus flower Scatter symbol can appear anywhere on the grid except the centre position. Landing three, four or five Scatters in a single spin awards five, seven or 10 Free Spins respectively. Further Scatter combinations during the Free Spins round add two, three or five extra spins.

Players can also use a Buy Bonus option to purchase entry into the Free Spins round directly, with the following spin guaranteed to trigger the bonus game and include guaranteed reel rotations on every spin.

Design and volatility

Rotating Element’s symbol set is themed around the natural elements of fire, water, wind, earth and flowers. BGaming describes the title as a medium-volatility game with a high return-to-player rate, designed with calming visuals and audio intended to appeal to a broad player base.

Alex Baliukonis, Game Designers Team Lead at BGaming, said the Rotate feature marks a first for the studio’s portfolio, adding that the game’s straightforward visuals are intended to sustain player engagement while the rotation mechanic provides an element of surprise.

BGaming states that its games are featured across more than 1,600 online casinos worldwide, and that it was the first provider in the sector to support cryptocurrencies and offer Provably Fair games. The company’s portfolio currently includes more than 150 products.
