Evoplay enters tap game vertical with Tap Craze launch
Game studio Evoplay has released Tap Craze, one of the industry's earliest tap titles, expanding its portfolio into a new interactive content category for operators.
Evoplay, the game development studio, has launched Tap Craze, a new title that marks its first entry into the tap game vertical. The release, announced on 28th November 2024, extends the supplier’s portfolio into a fresh format of interactive content aimed at operators.
Tap Craze centres on a character called Capybara Joe and is built around mechanics designed to boost player engagement and retention. A central feature, the Happiness Scale, tasks players with keeping Joe in good spirits in order to unlock a Wheel of Fortune bonus round, which can pay out multipliers of up to 500x.
Jackpots and social features
The game also includes three fixed jackpots, labelled Minor, Major and Grand. Additional features include a Costume Gallery allowing players to customise their character, and a Top 15 Leaderboard intended to add a competitive element to gameplay.
A live Information Ticker displays recent wins across the game, a feature Evoplay says is intended to build a sense of community among players.
Portfolio expansion
The launch reflects Evoplay’s broader push to diversify beyond its existing slots, table, crash and instant game offerings. Ivan Kravchuk, chief executive at Evoplay, said Tap Craze represented a significant step in the company’s efforts to expand its portfolio with interactive content, adding that the title was designed to give operators a product capable of driving both entertainment value and strong performance in competitive markets.
Evoplay’s catalogue currently spans more than 250 games. The company has previously been recognised at industry award ceremonies for its approach to game design and innovation.
The announcement was issued by communications agency Square in the Air on behalf of Evoplay.
