RubyPlay names Tsachi Maimon as new Chief Executive

RubyPlay, a B2B iGaming development studio, has announced the appointment of Tsachi Maimon as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will join the company’s co-founders in leading the business forward, taking up the role from Wednesday 1st October 2025.

Maimon brings close to two decades of experience in the global gaming sector. He previously served as CEO of iGaming solutions provider Aspire Global, where he oversaw the acquisitions of sportsbook supplier BtoBet and content aggregator Pariplay, along with an investment in bingo supplier End2End, contributing to sustained financial growth for the group.

Following Aspire Global’s acquisition by NeoGames in 2022, Maimon took on the role of President and Head of iGaming for the combined company. He most recently held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Aristocrat Interactive, after that business was acquired by Aristocrat in 2024.

Focus on North American expansion

At RubyPlay, Maimon will be responsible for corporate strategy as the studio looks to build on recent commercial momentum. The company has expanded into Brazil and the US in recent months, forming partnerships with major operators to distribute its slot content to a wide player base.

RubyPlay’s portfolio includes proprietary game mechanics such as Immortal Ways, Go High and Diamond Explosion. The studio has also diversified its offering through the launch of an independent games studio, Koala Games, earlier this year.

Commenting on his appointment, Maimon said he was looking forward to working with RubyPlay’s founders and management team to build on the company’s growth to date, noting that its games are now featured with some of the largest operator brands globally. He added that a key focus of his role would be supporting RubyPlay’s strategy to grow its presence in North America.

RubyPlay operates from offices in Australia, Malta and Ukraine, with a globally distributed team working under a hybrid model. The company’s portfolio includes more than 100 slot titles alongside bespoke game development services for operators.
