Evoplay sends players to the Colosseum with Chained Fighters slot
Evoplay has launched Chained Fighters, a Roman-themed slot in which victorious gladiators lock in as sticky wilds to boost payout potential.
Evoplay, the iGaming studio, has released Chained Fighters, a new online slot set in Ancient Rome. Announced on 26th September 2024, the game centres on a Gladiator Clash mechanic, in which combatants that triumph in battle convert into wilds.
The 5x4 title allows wilds to land in stacks of up to four per reel during the base game, adding to win potential, while multi-coloured gladiator symbols serve as the higher-paying icons.
Free spins and bonus buy
Landing three or more scatter symbols triggers a free spins round of up to 15 rounds. During free spins, gladiators face off on every spin, with the winners locking in as wilds to increase the likelihood of larger payouts. Additional scatter symbols can appear during the feature, awarding up to six extra spins. Evoplay states the game carries a maximum win potential of more than 3500 times the stake.
Where permitted by local regulation, a Bonus Buy option lets players pay to access 10, 12 or 15 free spins directly.

Ivan Kravchuk, chief executive of Evoplay, said the Gladiator Clash feature was designed to combine combat between gladiators with wild transformations to increase win potential. He said the studio expects the Roman theme and mechanics to make Chained Fighters a strong addition to its portfolio.
Evoplay describes itself as an iGaming developer with a portfolio of more than 250 slots, table, crash and instant games, and says its output has received recognition from industry awards.
