Games Global and Alchemy Gaming launch Bass Cash Diamond X UP slot
Games Global has added Bass Cash Diamond X UP, developed by exclusive studio partner Alchemy Gaming, to its slot portfolio, featuring an expanded four-scatter version of Alchemy's X UP mechanic.
Games Global has released Bass Cash Diamond X UP, a new title from exclusive studio partner Alchemy Gaming, continuing the supplier’s Bass Cash series with an angling theme and an updated version of Alchemy’s X UP mechanic.
The slot centres on Francis the Fisherman Collect symbols, which appear on reels one and five and gather visible cash and jackpot prizes. If both symbols land in the same spin, the resulting prize total can be doubled.
Four X UP scatter types
The game introduces what the companies describe as the most developed version of the X UP system so far, using four scatter types, each with a different effect. Red scatters increase the starting multiplier for the Free Spins round, while Gold scatters apply the current multiplier to base game cash and jackpot wins. Blue scatters permanently raise the multiplier trail from the top down, and Diamond scatters immediately max out the trail. Landing two Diamond scatters unlocks the full multiplier trail at once, with a stated maximum payout potential of 500x the stake.
A separate Bass Cash Bonus round is triggered by five Bonus symbols, expanding the Francis the Fisherman symbol on reel one to collect all visible cash prizes while trophy symbols build up above the reels. Collecting three matching trophies awards a Bronze, Silver or Gold jackpot prize. An Upsizer feature also allows players to choose a higher starting multiplier for Free Spins.
Executive comment
Marcus Thorpe-Fairall, creative director at Alchemy Gaming, said the studio aimed to build on the popularity of the Bass Cash series by applying its most advanced X UP mechanic yet, giving players more control through multiple upgrade paths.
Andy Booth, chief product officer at Games Global, said the four scatter types add variety and depth to the game and expressed confidence in its performance across the operator network.
Games Global says it works with 42 in-house and partnered studios that have produced more than 1,400 proprietary games over the past 20 years, spanning slots, table games, video poker, video bingo, progressive jackpots, game shows, crash games and live casino titles.
