Games Global and Alchemy Gaming Launch Bass Cash X UP Slot

Games Global and its exclusive studio partner Alchemy Gaming have launched Bass Cash X UP, a new online slot that pairs the studio’s X UP feature with a fishing theme for the first time. The game was announced on 3rd September 2024.

Bass Cash X UP is set against an underwater backdrop with transparent reels and floating water bubbles. The game’s central mechanic, X UP, is a multi-level trail that boosts cash and jackpot prize multipliers as players collect tokens.

How the mechanic works

Collecting two red scatter symbols awards a X UP token, while two blue scatters add a trail multiplier. A gold X UP scatter symbol applies the active multiplier to cash and jackpot prizes during the base game.

Landing three or more red scatters triggers eight free spins, during which any active X UP multipliers apply to cash and jackpot prizes from the outset. Further tokens can be collected during free spins to raise the multiplier, and two red scatters award extra spins along with an additional token. On entry to free spins, players can also activate a higher multiplier, with collected tokens reducing the cost of available multipliers.

The game also features a Bass Cash Bonus, triggered by completing a full trail of bonus symbols. An expanded symbol on the first reel collects any cash prizes that land, while trophy symbols are gathered above the grid.

Marcus Thorpe-Fairall, creative director at Alchemy Gaming, said the game had performed well during its exclusive release period, crediting the interaction between the studio’s latest version of the X UP mechanic and the game’s cash collection feature.

Andy Booth, chief product officer at Games Global, said Bass Cash X UP was designed to stand out in a crowded field of fishing-themed slots, citing its visual and audio design alongside the X UP feature.

Alchemy Gaming is an independent studio known for its mathematics-led approach to game design, having previously launched the WowPot progressive jackpot.
