Games Global signs three-year climate risk deal with Floodlight Software
Games Global has entered a three-year partnership with Floodlight Software to carry out climate risk assessments across its asset portfolio.
Games Global, a supplier of online gaming content, has agreed a three-year strategic partnership with Floodlight Software to conduct comprehensive climate risk assessments across all of its assets, the company announced on 13 November 2024 in Vienna.
Under the agreement, Floodlight Software will supply environmental risk analytics designed to help Games Global identify and address climate-related vulnerabilities. The insights are intended to support the operator’s asset management decisions and build a more sustainable operational framework.
Focus on transparency
Both companies said the partnership would prioritise transparency and continuous improvement throughout the assessment process, as part of a wider effort to embed sustainability into core business operations and strengthen resilience to climate change.
Ty Smith, Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance at Games Global, said the company aims to be the leading choice for iGaming content and that understanding environmental risks is essential to addressing them effectively. He said the partnership would help the company better understand climate risks and put in place strategies to protect its assets.
Nate Wyne, co-founder and chief executive of Floodlight Software, said the collaboration reflected a shared commitment to sustainable practices and was intended to set an example for the wider gaming industry in tackling climate risk proactively.
Games Global describes itself as a supplier of iGaming content with a catalogue of more than 1,300 games, a progressive jackpot network, 40 studios and distribution to around 600 gaming brands worldwide.
