NOVOMATIC's digital gaming division has renamed its Slovenian software unit Ineor to Greentube SI, cementing an acquisition first agreed in January 2023.

Greentube rebrands Slovenian subsidiary Ineor as Greentube SI

Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has renamed its Slovenian software solutions subsidiary Ineor to Greentube SI, the company announced on 16 January from Vienna.

The move follows a deal signed in January 2023, when Greentube acquired an 80% stake in the Slovenian firm. The rebrand formalises the integration of Ineor’s software development operations into the wider Greentube group.

Strategic rationale

Greentube said the renaming reflects its ongoing effort to strengthen its technological base in Europe. By folding in Ineor’s expertise in online gaming and sports betting software, the company said it is better placed to offer scalable digital products to operator partners worldwide.

Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube, said the company remains committed to investing in technology, talent and partnerships, and expects Greentube SI to add further value for players and partners now that it is fully embedded within the group.

Dejan Spasovski, founder of Greentube SI, described the change as a natural progression of a long-running partnership, noting that combined teams have worked together over several years on gaming solutions. He said the newly named entity intends to keep delivering technology across Greentube’s wider portfolio.

Background

Greentube operates as NOVOMATIC’s digital gaming and entertainment arm, providing video slots, table games, server-based gaming, social casino products and video bingo, alongside omni-channel technology spanning online, mobile and land-based gaming.
