Habanero secures Peru supplier licence
Slots and table games provider Habanero has been granted authorised service provider status in Peru, extending its Latin American footprint.
Habanero has been awarded a supplier licence in Peru, the company announced on 3rd December 2024, allowing it to distribute its casino game portfolio in the country.
The accreditation was issued by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), which regulates gambling in the country. It permits Habanero to offer its catalogue, including titles such as Hot Hot Fruit and Zeus Deluxe, to operators in the Peruvian market.
Peru introduced its regulatory framework for online gambling in late 2023, and the country has since been viewed as one of the more promising emerging markets in Latin America.
Expanding LatAm presence
The Peru licence adds to Habanero’s existing regulatory approvals in the region, which include Colombia, Buenos Aires and Panama. With the latest accreditation, the supplier says it now holds certification in 25 markets worldwide.
Arcangelo Lonoce, head of business development at Habanero, described Peru as one of the most promising up-and-coming markets in Latin America and said the accreditation represented the next stage of the company’s growth strategy, supporting existing clients while broadening access to its games for new players.
Habanero, which produces slots, table games and video poker titles for online, mobile and land-based casinos, positions itself as a supplier aiming for tier-one status across regulated markets globally.
