Playson adds double game field to new title 3 Chillies and Joker: Hold and Win

Playson, the digital entertainment supplier, has released 3 Chillies and Joker: Hold and Win, a slot combining its recurring jester character with a chilli-themed bonus mechanic.

The game is set around a campfire scene and features chilli Bonus and Jackpot symbols alongside classic fruit icons. Yellow, purple and green chillies each trigger a different feature, with the combination of bonus symbols collected during base play determining which is awarded.

New double field mechanic

The purple chilli activates the Double Chillie feature, which Playson describes as a first for the studio. It adds a second game field during the Bonus Game, with any Bonus and Jackpot symbols landing being added to both fields simultaneously. Filling all 15 cells across both fields awards a Grand Jackpot of 1,000x, doubled from the standard prize.

The yellow chilli unlocks the Extra Chillie feature, increasing respins during the Bonus Game to four, with new bonus symbols resetting the free spin count. The green chilli triggers the Multi Chillie feature, adding multipliers of up to 5x to the reels, with matching multipliers on the same cell combined for larger rewards.

The Bonus Game also includes a tiered jackpot system, with purple, blue and green chillies representing mini, minor and major jackpots worth up to 100x.

Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the release was designed to enhance gameplay through its bonus mechanics, highlighting the dual game field and 1,000x Grand Jackpot as key additions. He added that the title’s graphics and audio were intended to complement its classic design approach.
