Playson expands in Latvia with Fenikss tie-up

Playson, the digital entertainment supplier, has agreed a partnership with Latvian operator Fenikss, bringing its games portfolio to the operator’s online platform.

Fenikss, which operates under the NOVOMATIC group, is among Latvia’s leading gambling operators, offering both online and land-based slots alongside a sportsbook.

Under the deal, Fenikss will offer a selection of Playson titles including Royal Coins 2: Hold and Win, Book of Gold: Multichance and Royal Joker: Hold and Win. The integration was carried out through Relax Gaming’s aggregation platform.

European growth

The agreement forms part of Playson’s ongoing push to grow its presence across Europe’s regulated markets. The supplier said the move reflects its strategy of building a foothold in mature, tightly regulated jurisdictions.

Blanka Homor, Sales Director at Playson, said the company was pleased to expand further in Europe through the Fenikss partnership, adding that the operator would benefit from a range of its top-performing titles. She said the combination of Fenikss’ strong Latvian presence and Playson’s game content was expected to support business growth for both parties.

Martins Opmanis, Head of I-Gaming Department at Fenikss, said Playson’s slots remain in high demand across Europe and that the operator was pleased to add a selection of the titles to its platform, saying they would complement its existing offering.

Playson operates in 26 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide. The company holds licences including from the UK Gambling Commission, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA, MinCetur and SPA, along with a recognition notice from the MGA.
