Playson launches Egyptian-themed slot 3 Luxor Pots: Hold and Win

Playson, the digital entertainment supplier, has launched 3 Luxor Pots: Hold and Win, a new slot title set in an Egyptian temple, on 15 January 2025.

The game features golden scarabs, a queen pharaoh and other historic symbols, combined with animation and lighting effects. Central to gameplay are Pots, golden Bonus symbols and coloured Scarab coins, which unlock the title’s Hold and Win Bonus Game and trigger various Pot features depending on which combinations are activated.

Pot features and mechanics

Each Pot collects Scarab coins of a matching colour. Green coins expand the reel grid by an additional row each time they appear during the Bonus Game, awarding random values of up to seven times the original stake. Red coins trigger a Multiply Feature, applying three random multipliers between x2 and x7 to symbols on the reels before adding a further randomised value of up to x7. Blue coins activate a Collect Feature, gathering all symbol values on the reels into their total.

Magic Scarabs that appear during the Bonus feature can transform into green, red or blue coins, which either activates an additional Pot feature or boosts an existing one with an extra coin.

The Bonus Game also includes four in-game jackpots, denoted by violet, blue, green and red tokens representing mini, minor, major and grand prize tiers. Players who fill the entire game field receive an additional multiplier based on the number of rows completed, reaching up to x3 for five rows.

Company comment

Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the release reflects the company’s aim to keep expanding its portfolio with feature-led titles and popular mechanics, adding that the game’s Egyptian theme, features and bonus game reflect Playson’s commitment to offering more to partners and players.

Playson operates in 25 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide. The company is headquartered in Malta and Slovakia and holds licences including the UKGC, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA and MinCetur, along with a recognition notice from the MGA.
