Playson launches pirate-themed slot 3 Pirate Barrels: Hold and Win
Playson has released a new title in its 3 Pots series, featuring a Hold and Win bonus mechanic, fixed jackpots and a pirate treasure theme.
Playson has released 3 Pirate Barrels: Hold and Win, the latest addition to its 3 Pots game family, on 12th September 2024.
The slot carries a nautical treasure-hunting theme and retains the studio’s established Hold and Win mechanic. Landing six or more golden compass symbols triggers a Bonus Game built around this feature.
Coins, barrels and jackpots
During the main game or free spins, Pirate Coin symbols can appear on the reels, giving players extra chances to unlock the Bonus Game via barrel features. Each barrel gathers coins of a single colour, green, red or blue, with the mix of activated barrels determining which features are awarded.
An Extra Coin Feature adds further variation by converting a symbol into a random coloured Pirate Coin, which can then either open an additional barrel feature or top up an existing one.
Three pirate ship Scatter symbols in the base game trigger a Free Spins round awarding eight spins, with a further eight granted if three more Scatters land during the bonus round.
The title also includes four fixed jackpots, Mini, Minor, Major and Grand, with the top prize offering a payout of up to 5,000 times the stake.
