Pragmatic Play sends Big Bass franchise into space with Reel Repeat

Pragmatic Play, a supplier of content to the iGaming industry, has launched Big Bass Reel Repeat on 11 August 2025, giving its long-running Big Bass franchise a science-fiction makeover.

The game awards its bonus round when three to five scatter symbols land, triggering between 10 and 20 free spins. Before the round starts, players draw one of 12 cards that can reveal a modifier such as additional money symbols, higher multipliers, or a reduced retrigger threshold. Selecting the Mega modifier card activates all three enhancements simultaneously.

Wilds and retriggers

During the bonus feature, fisherman wild symbols collect all cash prizes landing on the same spin. Gathering every fourth wild, or every third when a modifier is active, grants ten additional free spins along with a multiplier that increases with each retrigger, reaching 2x, 3x and 10x on the first, second and third occasions respectively.

Bonus buy options

In markets where it is permitted, the title offers three ways to purchase the bonus round. Alongside the standard feature buy, a Repeat Chance option gives players a 50% probability of replaying the bonus once it concludes, while the Mega Free Spins option starts the round with all three modifiers already active.

Big Bass Reel Repeat follows other recent entries in the franchise, including Big Bass Bonanza 1000 and Big Bass Boxing Bonus Round.

Irina Cornides, chief operating officer at Pragmatic Play, said the new release moves the series into a science-fiction setting with randomised bonus modifiers and the potential to win up to 5,000 times the stake.
