Realistic Games launches Book of Bass, first entry in new Mash-Up slot series

Realistic Games has launched Book of Bass, the debut title in a new Mash-Up series that blends established slot genres into single games. The release, announced on 24 October 2024, follows the success of the supplier’s 2023 title Book of Charms and combines book-style slot elements with fishing-themed mechanics.

The game offers a maximum win of 10,000x stake, supported by two alternate wild symbols in the base game. Players can access two separate bonus rounds: a book bonus, triggered by landing three or more scatters, which awards at least 10 free spins featuring a randomly selected expanding symbol, and a fisherwoman bonus, which grants 10 free spins with instant cash prizes collectable during play.

An alternate bonus can be triggered during the initial free spins round, adding an incremental multiplier that starts at 2x and rises with each retrigger or additional bonus win. A further feature, Can of Worms, adds collectable instant-win fish symbols to the gameboard. Two bonus buy options are also available, giving players different ways to access the game’s features.

New franchise direction

Book of Bass marks the start of Realistic Games’ Mash-Up franchise, which the supplier says is designed to merge two popular slot themes into a single format rather than following either genre’s conventions alone.

Amy Brewis, Account Manager at Realistic Games, said the title combines elements of book-style and fishing slots to give fans of both genres a new take on familiar mechanics, adding that the blended features are intended to refresh established gameplay loops for players.

Realistic Games has been supplying online casino content since 2002 and currently offers more than 100 slots, table games and instant win titles across regulated markets including the UK, Romania and Sweden. Its content is used by operators including Entain, William Hill and Flutter Group.
