Relax Gaming enters Brazil and Peru as part of LatAm push

Relax Gaming has expanded into Brazil and Peru, entering both markets on 1st January, the company has announced.

The move builds on the supplier’s earlier entries into Mexico in 2021 and Colombia in 2022, continuing a broader strategy to grow its footprint across Latin America.

Content rollout

Relax Gaming is making more than 40 of its top-performing titles available to operators in the two markets. In Brazil, partners include Kaizen, Bet365 and Paddy Power Betfair, while in Peru the supplier has partnered with Betsson and SkillOnNet.

Alongside its own portfolio, Relax will also supply games from studios within its Silver Bullet aggregation programme as part of the rollout in both countries.

The company’s presence at the SBC Rio Summit was cited as a further sign of its intent to build out its regional operations.

Regulatory outlook

Alexia Smilovic Rønde, Chief Regulatory Officer at Relax Gaming, said Brazil’s shift towards a regulated online gambling market was among the most significant developments in the industry, while Peru remained a long-standing market of strategic importance for the company. She said the existence of licensing and responsible gambling frameworks in both countries put Relax Gaming in a strong position to grow there, adding that the business would continue focusing on expansion across the region in line with its wider strategy of prioritising regulated markets.

The supplier said it was recently named Best Mobile Gaming Software Provider at the EGR B2B Awards, Casino/Slot Developer of the Year at the SBC Awards, and received GGA’s Product Launch of the Year award for Dream Drop Jackpots.

Relax Gaming, founded in 2010, offers more than 4,000 online casino games through its own studio and partnerships with third-party developers via its Silver Bullet and Powered By Relax programmes. The company holds licences in jurisdictions including Ontario, Malta, Gibraltar, the UK, Romania, Greece and Sweden, and supports regulated markets such as Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Denmark, Italy, Estonia and Latvia.
