Relax Gaming names Angela van den Berg as General Counsel
iGaming aggregator and supplier Relax Gaming has appointed Angela van den Berg as General Counsel, tasking her with leading the group's legal function from its Isle of Man office.
Relax Gaming has strengthened its senior leadership with the appointment of Angela van den Berg as General Counsel, the company announced on 8th May 2025.
Van den Berg brings 17 years of experience advising iGaming businesses, with expertise spanning commercial, corporate and intellectual property law. Her career, which covers more than two decades across several international jurisdictions, includes time as a partner in private legal practice as well as in-house counsel roles within the gambling sector.
Most recently she served as Chief Legal Officer at Games Global, where she helped establish the company’s global corporate group and built its legal function and legal strategy from the ground up.
New role and remit
Based in Relax Gaming’s Isle of Man office, van den Berg will oversee the group’s legal affairs and lead its legal function. She is expected to work closely with the wider business to provide strategic guidance across operations, supporting the company’s growth ambitions in global markets.
Outside of her new position, van den Berg chairs Love Tech, an Isle of Man registered charity focused on mentoring women in STEM fields.

Founded in 2010, Relax Gaming supplies more than 4,000 casino games to over 700 operator brands, including proprietary poker, bingo and slot products alongside content from more than 70 partner studios. The company holds licences in multiple regulated markets, including Malta, Gibraltar, the UK, Ontario, Romania, Greece and Sweden.
