RubyPlay strikes content deal with Sisal to grow Italian footprint
B2B slots studio RubyPlay has agreed a partnership with Flutter-owned Italian operator Sisal, adding its game portfolio to Sisal's online platform.
RubyPlay, a B2B iGaming development studio, has signed a content agreement with Sisal, a major Italian gaming operator owned by Flutter Entertainment, announced on 19th February 2025.
Under the deal, RubyPlay’s slot portfolio, including its Immortal Ways Diamonds title, will be integrated onto Sisal’s online platform, extending the studio’s reach to a wider pool of Italian players.
Background on Sisal
Founded in 1946, Sisal is a long-established name in Italy’s regulated gambling market, offering lotteries, betting, online games and entertainment devices through both retail and digital channels.
RubyPlay described Italy as a key growth market, noting that the Sisal tie-up follows a series of partnership agreements it has struck in the country over the past year. The company said the move reflects its broader strategy of expanding into regulated European markets.
Executive comment
Dr Eyal Loz, Chief Product Officer at RubyPlay, said the agreement with Sisal represented an important step for the company, adding that it reinforced RubyPlay’s focus on supplying content to regulated markets while deepening its relationship with Flutter Entertainment. He said the partnership aimed to enhance player engagement and entertainment in Italy.
RubyPlay operates from offices in Australia, Malta and Ukraine, and offers a catalogue of more than 130 slot titles alongside bespoke game development services for operators.
Sisal, meanwhile, runs more than 47,000 retail points and serves around 1.8 million online customers, with a stated focus on sustainability, digital innovation and international expansion.
