Thunderkick launches jungle-themed slot with 10,000x win potential

Independent slots studio Thunderkick has launched Archie O’Loggins and the Enchanted Masks, marking its first release of 2025. The title follows an explosives-loving archaeologist on a jungle expedition, offering a maximum win of 10,000x stake.
The game is a 7x7 cluster pays slot built on Thunderkick’s Avalanche mechanic, in which winning combinations leave behind one of four Wild symbol types, three of which are classed as Special Wilds.
Special Wild mechanics
Grenade Wilds target one or two low-paying symbols on the grid and upgrade every instance of them into medium or high-value icons. Dynamite Wilds remove all occurrences of a low-paying symbol, one in the base game and two during the bonus round, allowing fresh symbols to fall into place.
Mask Wilds behave differently, sticking to the grid and shifting to a random adjacent position each time they form part of a winning cluster. When two Mask Wilds appear on the grid simultaneously, this triggers the Wild Field feature, converting all symbols within the affected area into Regular Wilds. During bonus play, any archaeologist symbols landing inside the Wild Field carry a cumulative 1x multiplier, contributing towards the game’s top win potential.
Visual style
The release uses comic-book-inspired artwork, continuing Thunderkick’s approach of pairing high-end visuals with layered gameplay mechanics.
Mike Collins, Game Product Owner at Thunderkick, said the title expands the studio’s Avalanche slots range with three new Special Wilds designed to keep gameplay varied, singling out the Wild Field feature’s activation method as a distinctive element. He added that the studio aims for the release to bring added value to operator partners.
Thunderkick is a Stockholm-based casino game studio founded in 2012, now employing more than 80 people working in-house. The studio develops content distributed via its own Remote Gaming Server to operators including Bet365, William Hill, LeoVegas, 888 Casino, Mr Green, PokerStars Casino, ComeOn, Unibet and Betsson. Its back catalogue includes titles such as Midas Golden Touch, Pink Elephants and the Esqueleto Explosivo series.
