Thunderkick releases festive slot Hot Turkey with 10,000x win potential
Stockholm-based studio Thunderkick has launched a new Christmas-themed slot, Hot Turkey, featuring Exploding Wilds and multipliers capable of unlocking wins up to 10,000 times the stake.
Independent slots studio Thunderkick launched Hot Turkey on 27 November 2024, its newest holiday-themed title designed to bring festive flavour to its game portfolio.
The 7x7 Cluster Pays slot is decorated with Christmas imagery such as candy canes, mistletoe and gifts, and uses the studio’s Avalanche mechanic, which replaces symbols involved in winning combinations to generate further wins.
How the mechanics work
Each Avalanche win produces an Exploding Wild on the grid. This symbol either joins a new cluster or detonates across a surrounding 3x3 area, leaving 2x multipliers in its wake. If a further Exploding Wild lands on an existing multiplier, its value doubles, up to a maximum of 128x.
Landing three Hot Scatters activates the bonus round, beginning with 10 free spins. Multipliers created by Exploding Wilds become sticky throughout the free spins feature, contributing to the game’s maximum win potential of 10,000x stake.
Part of a wider holiday range
Hot Turkey adds to Thunderkick’s existing seasonal titles, including Midas Golden Touch Christmas Edition and the Esqueleto Explosivo series, as the studio continues to expand its game catalogue for a global audience.
