Thunderkick makes Hungarian debut via Vegas.hu tie-up

Independent slots developer Thunderkick has entered the Hungarian iGaming market through a content agreement with Vegas.hu, the online casino operated by Las Vegas Casino (LVC) Diamond. The integration, which began in early August, marks the studio’s first launch in the country.

Hungary becomes the third new market for Thunderkick this year, following earlier moves into Canada and Colombia, as the company continues efforts to broaden its international footprint.

Vegas.hu, which launched in 2017 as the first legally licensed online casino in Hungary, has since grown into one of the country’s leading and highest-grossing gambling brands. Its operations fall under the supervision of the Hungarian Gaming Board, and the site now carries more than 1,300 games from 22 providers.

Titles and early performance

The rollout includes several of Thunderkick’s established titles, among them Midas Golden Touch 2, Beat the Beast: Dragon’s Wrath and Gods of Rock! Reborn. According to Thunderkick, the games have performed well since going live, reflecting demand for its catalogue among Hungarian players.

Fredrik Ekholm, Head of Sales at Thunderkick, said the company was focused on strengthening its position across Europe and viewed the Vegas.hu partnership as a step toward growing its player base on the continent, given the operator’s standing as Hungary’s first regulated online casino.

Thunderkick, founded in Stockholm in 2012, employs more than 80 staff and supplies slot content to operators including Bet365, William Hill, LeoVegas, 888 Casino, Mr Green, PokerStars Casino, ComeOn, Unibet and Betsson via its in-house Remote Gaming Server.
