Yggdrasil content goes live on crypto operator CoinCasino
Yggdrasil has expanded its footprint in the crypto gambling sector after launching its slots portfolio with cryptocurrency operator CoinCasino.
Yggdrasil, the iGaming content publisher, has gone live with cryptocurrency-focused operator CoinCasino, adding its proprietary and third-party slot titles to the platform.
The rollout includes games from Yggdrasil’s own studio alongside titles produced through its YGG Masters programme, which brings in content from partner studios. Among the games now available is 4 Fantastic Vikings Go Fishing.
CoinCasino operates a cryptocurrency-based casino platform with a portfolio said to exceed 2,500 games. The addition of Yggdrasil’s content is intended to give the operator’s players access to the studio’s slot catalogue using cryptocurrency and blockchain-based payment methods.
Reaching crypto players
Jose Simon, Commercial Director at Yggdrasil, said the partnership with CoinCasino, which he described as one of the biggest names in crypto gambling, would help the studio reach players who prefer using cryptocurrency to access casino games.
Sacha Pepermans, Game Operations Manager at CoinCasino, said the addition of Yggdrasil and its partner studios to the platform’s catalogue was a further step toward broadening the range of games available to its players while maintaining a focus on quality.
The deal forms part of Yggdrasil’s continued push to distribute its content, including output from its YGG Masters network, across a wider range of operators, including those in the crypto gambling niche.
Yggdrasil, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Sweden with additional offices in Malta, Poland and Gibraltar.
