Yggdrasil launches Bob Marlin Goes Splashing as follow-up slot

Yggdrasil has launched Bob Marlin Goes Splashing, a new slot title continuing its Bob Marlin series and following July’s Bob Marlin Goes Deep.

The game is set in a bathroom and uses a 5x4 grid featuring symbols such as rubber ducks, soap and sponges. Players can win up to 6,000x their stake.

Mechanics and features

The title combines two of Yggdrasil’s Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs): WildFight and RushingWilds. Ducks landing on the reels can trigger a WildFight, and if a duck wins the contest it becomes a sticky wild, prompting a respin. Should a WildFight occur during the bonus round, the resulting wild stays in place for the rest of the free spins.

Every duck that lands also fills a collection meter. Once full, the free spins round starts with a super duck that automatically wins all of its WildFights.

Scatter symbols determine how the feature unfolds: one scatter triggers a WildFight, two scatters trigger a WildFight followed by a 2x multiplier applied to all wilds on screen, and three or more scatters launch the free spins round outright.

During free spins, the RushingWilds mechanic means that each new wild increases the multiplier on other wilds already in play, while a WildFight takes place on every spin of the bonus round, giving players repeated opportunities to add wilds and raise multipliers.

In select jurisdictions, the game also offers two bonus buy options, one of which includes a boosted chance of landing a random super duck.
