Yggdrasil launches 4 Wolves of Fortune slot with DoubleMax mechanic
Yggdrasil has released a new canyon-themed slot title built on its DoubleMax Game Engagement Mechanic, offering uncapped multipliers.
Yggdrasil has launched 4 Wolves of Fortune, a new slot title powered by its DoubleMax Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM), which allows for unlimited multipliers.
The game is set in an American canyon and uses four differently coloured wolves as its top-paying symbols. It follows an avalanche-style format in which winning symbols are cleared and replaced by new icons falling into place, giving players further chances to win. The title also includes an additional wild symbol.
Under the DoubleMax mechanic, each consecutive avalanche doubles the game’s multiplier, with no ceiling on how high it can climb. Landing three Free Spins symbols triggers the bonus round, where players are first offered the chance to gamble for extra free spins before the round begins.
Expanding the GEM portfolio
4 Wolves of Fortune adds to Yggdrasil’s growing range of GEM-powered titles, which now spans ten proprietary mechanics used across its slot portfolio.
Tomasz Kowalik, Head of Games Production at Yggdrasil, said DoubleMax is among the supplier’s best-performing GEMs due to its uncapped multiplier potential, and that the new release combines a familiar theme with a bonus round designed to appeal to a broad range of players.
Yggdrasil, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Sweden with additional offices in Malta, Poland and Gibraltar. The company’s output includes its BOOST promotional toolset and the YG Masters partner programme, alongside its GEM range of game mechanics.
