Altenar extends Starcasino tie-up into Dutch market
Sports betting and iGaming software provider Altenar has gone live in the Netherlands after expanding its long-running partnership with operator Starcasino beyond Belgium.
Altenar has launched in the Netherlands through an extended partnership with Starcasino, the European casino and sportsbook operator, the company announced on 2nd June 2025.
The two firms had already been working together in Belgium, where Altenar has supplied Starcasino with a full sportsbook solution across online and retail channels for close to three years. Building on that relationship, Starcasino is now moving into the regulated Dutch market, with Altenar’s technology again powering its sportsbook operations.
The move represents a further step in Altenar’s expansion across regulated European markets, with the Starcasino deal cited as an example of its approach to supporting long-term partner growth.
Executives comment on expansion
Alejandro Cazorla, Senior Sales Manager at Altenar, said the launch marked a significant milestone in a collaboration that began in 2022, pointing to the platform’s flexibility and its ability to meet regulatory requirements across markets.
Pieter van den Bos, Director at Starcasino, said the operator was pleased to bring a new sportsbook platform to Dutch bettors following the success of the Belgian partnership, adding that the combination of Altenar’s technology with Starcasino’s odds and promotional tools was designed to offer a fresh betting experience for Dutch sports fans.
