Altenar Extends Starcasino Partnership with Dutch Market Launch
Sports betting and iGaming software provider Altenar has gone live in the Netherlands, expanding its long-running relationship with European operator Starcasino beyond their existing Belgian collaboration.
Altenar has entered the regulated Dutch betting market by extending its partnership with Starcasino, the European casino and sportsbook operator, the company announced on 2nd June 2025.
The two firms have worked together in Belgium for close to three years, where Altenar supplies Starcasino with a full sportsbook solution covering both online and retail channels. Building on that relationship, Starcasino is now moving into the Dutch market, with Altenar’s sportsbook technology again underpinning the operator’s offering.
The move forms part of Altenar’s broader push into regulated European markets, with the Starcasino tie-up cited as an example of the provider’s approach to supporting long-term partner growth.
Executive comment
Alejandro Cazorla, Senior Sales Manager at Altenar, said the expansion into the Netherlands marked a significant milestone in a collaboration dating back to 2022, adding that it reflected the flexibility of Altenar’s platform and its ability to meet regulatory requirements across markets.
Pieter van den Bos, Director at Starcasino, said the operator was pleased to bring what he described as a distinctive sportsbook platform to Dutch bettors, combining Altenar’s technology with Starcasino’s own odds and promotional offering.
